Goodbye Mr Decade..............

Last day of 2010! How did that happen?? Seriously... I guess this collage shows where my year went! Can't wait for fun new years times tonight, will be partying it up at my sisters with her pool and dancey times and lots of drinky mc drinks!!

Hope everyone has the most amazing times of amazement tonight!!  And that you all make the most of the "I haven't done that all year, that's the funniest joke I've heard all year!" jokes! Hahahaha oh they never get old.

Some Christmas Presents........

Christmas is over! There is such a build up for so long and then it's over so suddenly.  It's always a bit sad after I think.  I feel like our Christmas tree is mocking us with it's festive cheer, when we have to wait a whole year for Christmas again!

Oh Christmas was a super fun day though, we managed to see all 3 families, we spent breakfast with my Mother in Law, had lunch and swimming and fun times at my sister's with all my family, and then had dinner and swims at my Father in Law's.  It's always so fun to see how excited my nieces and nephew get over their presents as well! 

I hope yours was amazement too children of Blogland.

ohhh it is the christmas kind.......

Which is the BEST kind!

Yes it is Christmas tomorrow, in case you weren't aware.  I love Christmas because I love festivity! Our tree is all shiny and glorious, with millions of presents for my millions of nieces and nephews underneath it!

  Tomorrow I will be rushing around all day trying to see all the family, but it is going to be SUPER hot, and I am going to swim, like some kind of underwater swimming creature, like a mermaid or an old abandoned shoe.  And I shall surround myself with delicious food and magical drinks!

Weeeeeeeeee I hope everyone in blog town has the best time they have ever had in their entire lives!

I may even posty tomorrow because I bought an especially fun dress to wear, and I have a feeling there are some especially hot shoes under the tree......

Spot the difference............

Yes our favourite party trick is to swap outfits half way through a party for no apparent reason and see who notices.  It sure does trip out drunk people a lot, some people don't notice at all.  Although my hair looking slightly crimped gave away that it had previously been up in some kind of plaited style.  Oh adventures!

How hot is Hanskies jumpsuit, I never wanted to take it off, and almost nearly couldn't because I got stuck in it when I forgot to untie the belt but tried to change anyway.  Oh I am a clever clogs.



kittens are nice..............

Well, I'm trapped in the study again because my totally sane and lovely kitten is trying to kill me.. Yes she is a nice cat, and by nice I mean crazy.... But craziness is good and clearly runs in the family its just usually my craziness does not end in me trying to eat people....

Pinwheels + Cupcakes.....................

Oh how I love pinwheels, they are so pretty and so much fun!  I ordered our wedding pinwheels from Pinwhirl parties, who also provided us with the pennants.  I spent a whole day hand making the pinwheels because we went with the DIY option! It was intense but well worth the effort!  I would definitely recommend Pinwhirl Parties they were very organised and always prompt in replying to my emails!

The cupcakes were from Kustom Cupcakes, and were on recommendation from my friend Martina, she also had them at my hens night.  They were so delicious, and they were also really prompt and helpful.

Oh Marriage.............

We got all our professional photos yesterday from our wedding photographers Christine & Ruby.  They are absolutely magical!  The photos were on disks with our photos printed on them, in a gorgeous little box wrapped in ribbon.  They even put together an amazing slide show with music.

There are so many photos that it may take some time for me to put together a proper wedding post, but to tide you over you can check Ruby's blog, she has put together an epic post on our wedding!  Seriously these photographers were so wonderful, they are truly lovely happy and fun people and they are also amazingly talented.  I am in awe of their work.

husband and wife dance party..............

Had such a glorious mini-break... should do it more often.  Drank too much wine and fun beach times, boys got in touch with nature and went crabbing, lounge room dance party, and then lots more wine.  No more wine for me for a while!!

nails they go on your hands..............

I do so love on this nail polish colour, yes I do, you can catch a tiny glimpse at my wedding band here, huzzah it is glorious.  My hand looks slightly over tanned here, damn you weird lighting and spray tans.....

I'm going on a semi road trip now, destination wine o'clock here I come.

lack of inspiration............

I haven't sketched properly in so long that I feel like I have forgotten how to draw.  It is sad, here is a rough attempt at drawing today. Sigh.

ohhh summer.....

I really miss having a swimming pool in my court yard.... oh Bali.....

We are in the middle of redecorating our bedroom, have painted the walls and purchased new furniture etc.  Still early days, but it's good to utilise some of the bunting and lanterns we used as decoration for our wedding.  Whimsical, whimsical I likey....

Night time beach times...............

After many magical beach times on my honeymoon in Bali, I was inspired by the 2threads Billabong summer blogging challenge.....

Chilling on the beach at night time in Bali was most magical.  Especially after eating at a most spectacular restaurant right on the beach. We discovered a magical light up dart thingy that flies through the sky.  Husbandy was most impressed and bought one immediately.  Pretty lights on the beach at night time are the best kind!  I enjoyed the disco laser pointer the man at the beach tried to sell us.  After having many a wine, I began dancing like a lion tamer in the middle of the beach by myself.  Good times... The beach at night time is one of my favourite things, throw on a whimsical floaty dress and prance about in the sand surrounded by pretty stars and a lovey night breeze.  It is glorious!

......it's a fun dress!

Kind of outfit posty here, this is on our honeymoon in Bali.  I had to barter for that dress,  I really really was no good at bartering, so I made my husband be in charge of all of that.  He is a good husband. Anyhoo it is a really really fun dress.  The minute we met it challenged me to a badminton game.  It was really keen on going to the beach and playing grip ball and had a great collection of marbles we spent hours playing with together.  What a great dress! So fun!  I am also wearing a sportsgirl hat and shoes from shoe show which although fun did not have the same keen interest in fun activities.



plaited for life..........

Oh being plaited together for life is quite an interesting adventure, and by life I mean about 5 minutes, because then we moved onto other things like giant pretzels of love and running around in circles whilst shouting "whirl pool whirl pool whirl pool whirl pool".  Oh lounge room dance parties at my house are surely strange, and everyone is invited, because it is very fun.  It is as fun as some kind of giant dinosaur who wears pirate hats made out of newspaper and constantly practices the recorder.  If you are loving on my outfit, well then you are only human, because I am wearing a nighty tucked into some ratty cutoffs! Yes I am a classy nighty wearing rapscallion! But Hanhan looks very nice she doesn't wear her pyjamas to classy lounge room events!

I have got to get back on the blog horse, so to speak.  But I am so lazy that even sitting still in the corner facing the wall is too much effort for me.  But I promise to do an amazing post on the wedding and the honeymoon and all things glorious because that's just the kind of gal I am!!
