New Years and the story of how it is new and year like......

Tomorrow, we shall investigate its new year likeness. But for now it is just the eve. Which is much like the name Steve, without the letters S and T.

Amongst my millions of new year resolutions, I shall blog much more regularly, I shall fix Mr Camera so I can outfit posty again, and your eyes can all bleed from happiness!

I will draw millions of pictures and paint myself all over with coral coloured nailpolish for no apparent reason. I will make boats out of alfoil and sail them for days on magical rivers.

I will update Mr Bird daily, because he really misses living life, and that is a sad sad thing.

I will run around in circles for hours upon hours every day.

I shall befriend a popsical named Mr PopsicleFace and hang out with him all summer time.  Until he is eaten alive.

I shall write a book about the importance of matching socks.

I shall do many many things and all in the world will rejoice with glee.

The story of how even though my new shoes broke and had to leave this land.......

.... I found and bought some new shoes that made Mr Purse very happy indeed...

Here is an excerpt from the phone conversation I just had with Mr Stompface:

Stompy – I bought two pairs of shoes today….
Mr Stompy - WHYYY!!??!! *loud indecipherable noises* *Mr Stompy’s head explodes!*
Stompy – Guess how much they cost all up!
Mr Stompy – One million dollars!!! *angry wailing*
Stompy – $35!!!
Mr Stompy - *Head grows back* I AM FILLED WITH MUCH HAPPINESS AND PRIDE, YOU ARE A GOOD WIFEY TO BE, AND WHEN WE GET MARRIAGED I SHALL SHOWER YOU WITH TEN DOLLAR PAIRS OF SHOES AND EVERYONE WILL GASP AT THE GLORY.

List Of Things That Make Stompy Sad, Sad, Sad……………..

1. Computer has been taken over by an evil virus from evil land, therefore not many visits in blog town, even though I was all enthusiastic to bloggety every day.

2. My ear is blocked, and very hurty, this could be from the ridiculously loud gig on the weekend, or when I wasn’t looking a sneaky elephant climbed inside there to hide from poachers.

3. Mr Ipod is also brokey, he does strange things and skips all the songs and it makes my heart ever so sad, because I thought it was true love.

4. Bought some amazing summer flats, they were exactly like in imagination land inside my head. Got them home realised they had been cut into, appeared to be with scissors? (why!?) Had to return them, and none left in the entire universe in my size.

5. Bought bag that matched above shoes perfectly, now bag is all alone with no matchy friends, and is weeping and wailing rather loudly, which is causing people in the street to stare.

6. Still haven’t fixed Mr Camera, because I have to take it to some random place that is out of the way and I will never ever get around to taking it there. Why do we bother with technology? It just breaks all over everywhere and makes us cry tears of a rapper.

7. Some kind of mosquito creature just bit me on my face. It was not very polite at all.

8. I have only just started my Christmas shopping, the shops are scary and filled with millions of people that walk too slowly and get in my way.

9. Seriously, my ear really hurts.

10. I need new shoes on my feet, or I’ll be sad forever.

Lost....

Have been feeling rather lost lately, but ol' stompy is going to get her life into order. Yes, organisation is a friendly word. Let's be friends Mr Organisation...with this new found friendship I will have more time for bloggetty bloggetting, drawing, Mr Bird and other such projects. Isn't that nice. YES IT IS YOU SAY, I AGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY YOU SAY.  It is nice to agree, it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I want to ride my bicycle, except I can't because it's breaks snapped and.....

....a peddle fell off, whilst riding it, it was not dangerous at all.  This was over a year ago, but unfortunately my tastes for bicycles are rather expensive, think retro/classic, white, wicker basket(but not the wicker man, he is bad and evil) and lots of prettiness, so instead I just ride about on my invisible bicycle, or live vicariously through amazing pictures.

sketched this a few minutes ago, loosely based on Abbey in Dazed & Confused...very loosely based, as in I drank a bottle of wine and decided it would be a good idea to sketch it, its not quite as i had imagined in my wine soaked head.... but i still kind of like it in a weird weird way....

also purchased where the wild things are on the weekend, and it has made me all illustration inspired about it... what a magical journey... cannot wait for this movie to come out in Australia....

Mr Bird is getting up to much mischief and french fry eating today....

Mr Stompface and I also made a delicious pirate ship cake.... it was a crazy time adventure involving pirate lego men, nervous breakdowns and kitchens covered entirely with icing ceiling to floor...

pretty pretty notebook notebook.........

purchased a notebook with this on the cover, it makes me happy because it is pretty, and also because the quality of the paper inside is surprisingly good, I really hate it when you buy a pretty notebook and the page quality reminds you of baking paper, also the pages are blank which means I can draw things in it and not be restricted to a world of lines, the end

It's alive, it is indeed some kind of living blog like creature........

Yes, my blog break was not a very long one.  I think Mr Blog was in desperate need of an outfit change.  And lets face it, if you had to wear the same outfit every day for nearly a year you'd be feeling pretty filthy too.

Poor dirty Mr Blog, why didn't you just buy a washing machine?? Why???!!!! Is it because you are a blog and do not have opposable thumbs to put the washing powder into the machine, let alone buy a machine? Well, you are forgiven.

I don't know if Mr Blog will need a few more outfit changes or not, but we will see, I will probably wake up in the morning filled with disgust at the thought of his strange appearance. Let me know your thoughts and rhymes about it, and that will help too.  Yay for helping!

The Key To My Heart.......

In honour of mine and Mr Tieheads 5 year anniversary on the weekend, here is a sketch I did a while ago.... the keys to hearts can be quite useful... very useful indeed!!

Glue and updatey, and why is it my keyboard is covered in some kind of winey substance........

Today I have been glueing lots of things, wow glueing is a strange looking word, am I even spelling it right? Perhaps it is gluing, or GLOOing, I am not sure. The fact of the matter is, glue does also not know how to spell, so it is okay. Anyways, my uhu is purple, the purple like when you were 6 and you were outcast if your glue was the not purple colour.

Here are some pattern things I drew, because pattern things command your every thought and tell you to only wear sneakers made entirely out of alfoil. Sure they are noisy to walk in, and sometimes your feet are accidentally baked at the office morning tea. But you must do what the pattern things say, because it is destiny.



So the matter of the fact is, blogging, is it a lot like purple uhu? There is a lot of pressure to be like the purple uhu and I do not think I can live up to it? So I think Mr Blog here will have to float about on his lonesome in the space of interwebbishness for awhile because I think we are no longer in love....
