minty fresh..................

Oh I am sick sick sick sick and it is NOT fun at all.  But better be sick now then when I'm about to start my new job next week.  I have been keeping myself entertained by painting my nails, with this amazing minty green colour by Revlon.   It reminds me of spring times and frolicking through fields of flowers.... I really like how the colour goes with my engagement ring as well, which looks a bit blurred in this photo......

Does anyone have an tips for shops in Perth that sell amazing work/corporate clothes, I need a new fresh work wardrobe!

  1. OOo i brought the minty green from Revlon I love it!!
As for tips for work clothes... I love Cue!! Also Witchery... Garden City (as much as i hate the place) has that stretch of shops where Portmans and Peter Alexander are. I would wander down there...
If you are on a budget though which i usually am... Target never disappoints!! I have got some cute black dresses there with tulle underneath that are great for work if you wanna go corporate!
At the end of the day i think its all about cute accessories!! Simple creams, nude, black and white, Pencil skirts yayyy with some great heels and a headband!
There's also a stack of blouses out there you can turn in to corporate. And little waistcoats!!! Oh its endless... good luck with the new job!! What will you be doing?? Oh and GET BETTER!! XO

  2. Being sick is not fun when the weather is perfect for frolicking outside.

I love this nailpolish. I bought a mint green one from AA but when it is on my nails it kinda looks greyish, not cute. So maybe I should grab this one instead!

  5. If you find somewhere in Perth selling cool work clothes, please post it on your blog!

I usually just get mine from Cue or Veronika Maine, as they're made in Australia. They have an outlet store at Harbour Town too.

My work wardrobe currently consists of:
    - skirts from Sydney/online (Kelda Leigh) and Melbourne,
    - tops from Melbourne (Queen Clothing),
    - a top from Morrison, Fremantle

All clothes are Made in Australia though...

  11. I put the lilac from the new revlon spring collection on my nails today while I was home sick. Nail polish always cheers me up. I think I'll pick up the mint polish next time I'm at the shops :)

I agree with Target for work clothes too

Your engagement ring is so amazing.

I hope you feel better soon!

  13. Portmans has reeeaally nice things in at the moment and most of it can be worky or casual depending on the accessories, etc, which is good!!
That's really all I can think of. Other than that, you can't really go wrong with Country Road for basics?

I hope you find some things!!

Oh look, a comment box! Perhaps you could leave some kind of witty and or kind comment here. Or you could write long lovely poems about sailing and giant windmills. Whatever floats your boat. Just type, right below this writing, yes in that nice blank box!
