It is the only way.  Good golly I miss summer.  It is STARTING to get slightly lighter earlier in the mornings and that is a good sign.

 

Don't you love how strategically placed the dogs look in the first photo? They are models.

 

This was a lovely sunny day a week or so ago.  Tomorrow it will be sunny also.  Sunny is good.  Life is good (even though it is still winter).

This is me, wearing a mustardy knitty delight, about to go out for dinner with the ever amazing gorgeous lady Young Zeus.  I wish she blogged still, because she is freakin cool, and her blog was a favourite of mine.

I've been wearing this skirt to death, its not good when I do that because one day I will hurt it and never want to wear it again.  What a sad day that will be.

But today is not a sad day, because I won a dress and got to go home super early. Yay me and yay Friday's! Hope you are all having amazing ones.

Here are some old photos I hadn't got around to posting yet...golly I sure do love this jumper, it's a great no effort outfit, either with cutoffs or jeans or simply as a jumper dress. I highly recommend it.

I've been home sick today :( and feeling sorry for myself.  I'm so so so over this cold wintry weather. and feeling sick, it is no fun, I want sunshine and happy days dagnabbit.

This woolly jumper is a wonderful creation.  It keeps me very warm indeed!  This outfit heaps reminds me of my childhood, like being a kid in the 90's. I wore ensembles like this a lot. In fact, you can see a similar jumper and patterned dress in this post!

winter times...........

It is starting to get very wintery indeed in old P-town.  So I invested in these amazingly warm bed sock things from Sportsgirl a day or so ago. THEY ARE AMAZE.  So cosy and warm and they also are just kind of funny.  My dog wants to eat them and my cat is afraid of them, and my feeties are warm as some kind of thing that is very warm and cosy indeed.

speaking of wintery times going on adventures with hanhan tonight, and it is so hard to know what to wear in the cold when I have not invested in any wintery capey coaty jackety delights. arghhhh....

wish wish wish for a jellyfish and by jellyfish I mean some fun clothes.....

This yeti-knit cardigan by Romance Was Born.





Unfortunately, I do not have $450 to spend on a cardigan, because I have important things to pay for such as making sure my kitten doesn't have millions of kittens and train them to be strange kitten soldiers and eventually have world domination. So apparently the cardigan just doesn't make the cut. But I do like the cut of its jib.

If we could ever be together we would have a wild summer romance, except in winter. The cardigan and I would hold hands and skip on the beach and go bowling on Friday nights, and wear matching hats. We would be forever known as the cute matching hat couple, and all other cardigan/human relationships would strive to be as cool as us.

Instead, I will just have to pretend to be a yeti. Which is always a fun time.....
