It is the only way.  Good golly I miss summer.  It is STARTING to get slightly lighter earlier in the mornings and that is a good sign.

 

Don't you love how strategically placed the dogs look in the first photo? They are models.

 

This was a lovely sunny day a week or so ago.  Tomorrow it will be sunny also.  Sunny is good.  Life is good (even though it is still winter).

Thanks to my lovely bestie Hanhan for taking these photos in this dirty disgusting spare block.  There was literally filth all around us.  But then we went and ate delicious Vietnamese and all was right in the world again!!

also our good friend Mr Sunshine was out and about that day, and it was WONDERFUL.  but then...he was gone... MR SUNSHINE, WHERE ARE YOU, I miss you very much, I have made many sunshine themed scrapbooks in your honour.

This blog post is specifically for Rosemary, because she is the most wonderful/beautiful Rosemary there ever was and also because I wanted to give her a shout out because she always makes me feel so good about myself and then I can't fit into any of my boots because I am too big for them, TOOO BIG. Check out her blog Lashe's & Lattes, because she is rather genius, and makes me wish I could be better at make up and also life.

Here are some photos of me the day after I got back from Bali, and was happy to receive this delight in the mail thanks to Somedays Lovin.  The awesomely detailed back came at the right time as I had some what of a back tan! Good team work back tan and rad tee. Good teamwork.

Meanwhile, back to the present. I am about to embark on quite an amazing quest today. I will be driving by myself to my best friend's house. Yes maybe it doesn't sound like the world's greatest quest, but I am afraid of driving. I will be back with many tales of my adventures tomorrow.

I've been back from Bali for a week, and I am still wishing I never left, if only for the glorious weather.  Winter, I do not care for you!

Haven't had much time to blog lately, and have been thinking about just shutting it down all together, but I am not quite ready to let it go yet, so I shall see what happens.

this somedays lovin' tee is SO freakin SOFT. It is wonderful to wear things that are soft and delightful. It is much more comfortable to wear than my blazer that is made entirely out of sandpaper.

yes all blogged, not all cried Hanhan, although that is a great elevator sing song.  here are some not amazing photos of a very amazing dress, I wanted to get some better ones, but then I couldn't be bloggered.  I'm all uninspired and lazy with all things blog at the moment.. sigh.. but whilst I can't really be bothered blogging at the moment, that does not mean I don't spend every waking moment thinking about wonderful dresses such as this one....

these photos are from our weekend away the other week, where we drank too much ate japanese and had some interesting weekend and bernies style waltzing (trust me you don't want to know.)

Market HQ, oh the deliciousness!

Oh Market HQ, you can do no wrong in my book! I ordered my first dress from their store last week, and it came with two fortune cookies, YES YOU HEARD ME CORRECTLY, FORTUNE COOKIES!!!  So therefore Market HQ is possibly the most awesome online store to ever exist in this universe.

These are three of my favourite looks at the moment:

1. Gosh, I fell madly in love with this jacket creamy lacey invention, unfortunately it was a vintage revival so I missed out.  But absolutely love the whole jacket as a dress and you all know I am a sucker for neutral colours.

2. Pocahontas...need I say more?  Any outfit that makes me feel like one of my favourite Disney characters is alright by me!

3. Ponchos!! It is very nearly winter times and I plan to fill my wardrobe with a million ponchos because they are warm and fun, and I love this paired with over the knee socks, I really miss over the knee socks.

Lost....

Have been feeling rather lost lately, but ol' stompy is going to get her life into order. Yes, organisation is a friendly word. Let's be friends Mr Organisation...with this new found friendship I will have more time for bloggetty bloggetting, drawing, Mr Bird and other such projects. Isn't that nice. YES IT IS YOU SAY, I AGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY YOU SAY.  It is nice to agree, it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It's alive, it is indeed some kind of living blog like creature........

Yes, my blog break was not a very long one.  I think Mr Blog was in desperate need of an outfit change.  And lets face it, if you had to wear the same outfit every day for nearly a year you'd be feeling pretty filthy too.

Poor dirty Mr Blog, why didn't you just buy a washing machine?? Why???!!!! Is it because you are a blog and do not have opposable thumbs to put the washing powder into the machine, let alone buy a machine? Well, you are forgiven.

I don't know if Mr Blog will need a few more outfit changes or not, but we will see, I will probably wake up in the morning filled with disgust at the thought of his strange appearance. Let me know your thoughts and rhymes about it, and that will help too.  Yay for helping!

Glue and updatey, and why is it my keyboard is covered in some kind of winey substance........

Today I have been glueing lots of things, wow glueing is a strange looking word, am I even spelling it right? Perhaps it is gluing, or GLOOing, I am not sure. The fact of the matter is, glue does also not know how to spell, so it is okay. Anyways, my uhu is purple, the purple like when you were 6 and you were outcast if your glue was the not purple colour.

Here are some pattern things I drew, because pattern things command your every thought and tell you to only wear sneakers made entirely out of alfoil. Sure they are noisy to walk in, and sometimes your feet are accidentally baked at the office morning tea. But you must do what the pattern things say, because it is destiny.



So the matter of the fact is, blogging, is it a lot like purple uhu? There is a lot of pressure to be like the purple uhu and I do not think I can live up to it? So I think Mr Blog here will have to float about on his lonesome in the space of interwebbishness for awhile because I think we are no longer in love....

Bloggety bloggety bloggety, It is Monday, and unfortunately Monday's don't agree with me. They are so argumentative, I will say "Icecream is delicious!" and the Monday's yell "NO STOMPFACE, WE DO NOT AGREE WITH YOU!" See, you know Monday's are evil, because they don't like icecream, and that is not good, it is in fact bad.

Also just a small fun interview The Fashion Kiwi did with me. I must say her blog is quite rad, I have been browsing it and discovering many new wonderful things.

Mr Bird has been on so many more adventures.

Welcome to the Mirror World!!! Where there are over 17 mirrors!!!

What is a blog town without a strange mirror photo? Oh and it is a lovely giant picture to traumatise all the children! This is me in the process of making up my face (I imagine it has eyes... lips...and sometimes I get really crazy and imagine I have a nose!!) before going to the land of weddings. Pretty amazing, I know.

I will take some real pictures soon. If only I had new amazing things to frolic about in. Perhaps I could imagine those too, although it could end up very emperors new clothes.

I am currently wishing it was Friday, maybe if I wish really hard it will happen. But I hear those kinds of wishes take 2 days to process.
