Happy New Years............

Here are a few snaps of my outfitty on New Years Eve. Unfortunately I made the horrible discovery that sequins are my enemy.  They were cutting up my arms all night! But they are so gosh darn sparkly all I want to do is cover myself in them head to toe, but I also do not want to be all cut up and bleedy...what a dilemma!! Also it was so floaty! It was crazy windy last night, I was flashing people the entire time, including my friends grandparents! Awkward.....It WAS a beautiful dress though.

I spent my new years celebrating the engagement of our absolutely wonderful friends John & Janet.  Super happy for them, they are off on a long travelling adventure and I will miss them very much!!

My new years day has been pretty chilled, spending some time with family and currently drinking wine eating doritos and watching Ship To Shore.  Yes Ship To Shore.  Why is it that all kids tv shows insist on the kids forming some kind of band?  It makes me cringe.

I can't believe 2011 is nearly over.... Wishing you all an amazingly wonderful night with millions of adventures!  I will see you again next year!

Isn't it strange, I'm not quite sure how that happened, I'm not quite sure where 2010 went. I was thinking about what I would do with my wedding dress yesterday and I figured I might as well keep it so that one day I could it pass down to a daughter or a granddaughter perhaps, and then I was laughing because I would be like "This dress is vintage 2010!" and it sounded so ridiculous.

Here are some happy snaps from my new years, mine was quite a calm one, playing Beatles rockband at my sister's, surprisingly not drinking too much and falling asleep at 1 on the bed with the light on on top of the covers with my camera in my hand.  When I woke up in the morning I was still holding the camera, and apparently my husband and brother in law came in around 2am and marvelled that I could sleep with the bright light on top of the covers with my camera still in my hand.

New Years and the story of how it is new and year like......

Tomorrow, we shall investigate its new year likeness. But for now it is just the eve. Which is much like the name Steve, without the letters S and T.

Amongst my millions of new year resolutions, I shall blog much more regularly, I shall fix Mr Camera so I can outfit posty again, and your eyes can all bleed from happiness!

I will draw millions of pictures and paint myself all over with coral coloured nailpolish for no apparent reason. I will make boats out of alfoil and sail them for days on magical rivers.

I will update Mr Bird daily, because he really misses living life, and that is a sad sad thing.

I will run around in circles for hours upon hours every day.

I shall befriend a popsical named Mr PopsicleFace and hang out with him all summer time.  Until he is eaten alive.

I shall write a book about the importance of matching socks.

I shall do many many things and all in the world will rejoice with glee.
