psychedelic time traveller..............

 

The last time I wore this dress, a strange man on the street asked me where it was from.  I told him it was from the 60's and that I was a time traveller.  He was quite impressed to hear that the world's first time machine was built entirely out of popcorn.  He tried to bring me home to show me off to his kids, as most people would when coming across a time traveller. I calmly explained there was no time for me to meet his children as I would have evaporated by then.

It's always good to pretend you are a time traveller

more neon pink please..........

These shoes are a freakin' dream. I don't think I will ever grow out of this neon pink colour.  I think these shoes were about the closet I was ever going to get to these which I have been lusting after for a very very long time.

I wore these last night for some friend's birthday celebrations, and things got a bit wild, and also very cold. I do not care for winter one bit.  By the end of the night I'd swapped my heels for my husband's giant shoes, which made for an interesting outfit as well as rocking his giant jacket.

I also walked all the way home in the giant shoes, looking quite ridiculous but also hilarious.

Those are the best kinds of nights. When things get weird....

heels that are very very high.........

I've never in my life had difficulties wearing high heels.  In fact I can practically play sport in them and have so before.  But these are just the teeniest bit higher than what I'm used to so they are going to take some practice!!  But they are very beautiful and will go with pretty much everything so once I feel like I'm not going to plummet to my death whilst wearing them life will be good.  And I will always be able to reach for jars of things at the tops of very high shelves.  Probably if I went to the far away tree while wearing them my head would immediately be popping out into some new land, like the land of incredibly high heels.  Where everyone in the land wears very high heels and walk around and do jigs much like a funny stilts wearing circus performer.  I wish I was in the circus, mainly because it seems a lot more fun than actual work, although I am very very afraid of clowns.

Wore this on the weekend, but didn't get a proper shot of it.  Will have to have an outfit reenactment sometime soon.  If not an outfit reenactment perhaps I can dress up all medieval and do a reenactment of wars in the middle ages...either or.
