dragon alliance.......

When I was about 9 years old my friend gave me a post card she got from some fashion magazine. With this blondish girl with bright red lips and aviator style shades. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, and I wanted to be her. I used to carry it around with me all the time for a while. It was pretty weird. But looking at the first photo of myself in these rad Dragon Alliance shades, I realised I looked pretty darn similar to the girl in the post card.

Life goal complete!!

These snaps are from yesterday, which also happened to be Australia Day, and I happen to love Australia very much.

The Dragon Alliance shades are also featured on Mr Stompface.  I think they look better on him actually.  He is always stealing my thunder.  Sometimes its all why has the storm only got lightning?  It's because he has trapped my thunder in a cupboard.

Meanwhile, in Photo Town. He is channelling his skills from when he was a child model (HE TOLD ME SPECIFICALLY NOT TO MENTION THIS, I'm fairly sure he never reads my blog so I think I'm safe).

I think he looks very handsome.

Pinwheels + Cupcakes.....................

Oh how I love pinwheels, they are so pretty and so much fun!  I ordered our wedding pinwheels from Pinwhirl parties, who also provided us with the pennants.  I spent a whole day hand making the pinwheels because we went with the DIY option! It was intense but well worth the effort!  I would definitely recommend Pinwhirl Parties they were very organised and always prompt in replying to my emails!

The cupcakes were from Kustom Cupcakes, and were on recommendation from my friend Martina, she also had them at my hens night.  They were so delicious, and they were also really prompt and helpful.

Oh Marriage.............

We got all our professional photos yesterday from our wedding photographers Christine & Ruby.  They are absolutely magical!  The photos were on disks with our photos printed on them, in a gorgeous little box wrapped in ribbon.  They even put together an amazing slide show with music.

There are so many photos that it may take some time for me to put together a proper wedding post, but to tide you over you can check Ruby's blog, she has put together an epic post on our wedding!  Seriously these photographers were so wonderful, they are truly lovely happy and fun people and they are also amazingly talented.  I am in awe of their work.

nails they go on your hands..............

I do so love on this nail polish colour, yes I do, you can catch a tiny glimpse at my wedding band here, huzzah it is glorious.  My hand looks slightly over tanned here, damn you weird lighting and spray tans.....

I'm going on a semi road trip now, destination wine o'clock here I come.

......it's a fun dress!

Kind of outfit posty here, this is on our honeymoon in Bali.  I had to barter for that dress,  I really really was no good at bartering, so I made my husband be in charge of all of that.  He is a good husband. Anyhoo it is a really really fun dress.  The minute we met it challenged me to a badminton game.  It was really keen on going to the beach and playing grip ball and had a great collection of marbles we spent hours playing with together.  What a great dress! So fun!  I am also wearing a sportsgirl hat and shoes from shoe show which although fun did not have the same keen interest in fun activities.
