Oh it is the day of Mondayness. Which I don't care for at all! AT ALL SIRS. I am very very sleepy and wish for nothing but to stay in bed all day and read a good book. Woe is me.

Today was wonderful, I had the most glorious of adventures with a great old friend. We both wore little white dresses so it must have been destiny! We ate the most delicious food imaginable, and went shopping and then drank at a nice new bar. It was lovely. I also finally got my hands on Lula, I was so happy that doves appeared and performed acrobatics all about the book store. I also finally got a new bag, the last one was on its very last legs, which is saying something because bags don't generally have legs! It is very giant and very pretty so I can fit all kinds of important things in there like sinks and lipstick. Once I got it home I realised that it reminds me a lot of Hanhan's bag actually! They can be friends Hanhan!
It has been crazy crazy hot weather here, so I have resorted to living in little white summer dresses. This one is particularly old and ratty, with the straps having to be sewn up several times, having been covered with furniture varnish when my husband decided it would be a good idea to varnish our outdoor setting right next to the washing... it also has some mystery pink stains on it that I think came from mixing something red in the wash. Poor little dress, it has some stories to tell, but it is so so comfy and perfect on a ridiculously hot day. We keep having storm warnings but so far nothing has hit where I live! All I want to do is go on adventures but everyone is wary of the storm.......

Oh little kitten, just climb inside my handbag and come home with me please!! I went on a super speedy lunchtime adventure with Han yesterday! It was super speedy as I was on break from work, but I managed to spend time with kitten and share half a wrap with Hanskies! It was all very speedy and wonderful! I made Hannah take pictures of me and kitty so I could make my husband jealous! I look all work about it!

Have been obsessed with magazines since I was just a small child and first laid my eyes on Girlfriend and Dolly! And I am still obsessed with magaiznes now! Although I have moved on from Dolly and Girlfriend. I can't explain the joy and excitement I get when a new magazine comes out! The latest Russh is particularly lovely..............
Oh yes Australia Day times! Sure it seems like a good idea at the TIME to drink two bottles of wine on an empty stomach, but boy am I paying for it today!! Getting up to go to work was so fun that my eyes and ears bled constantly and I attracted many a look of horror. The lesson, boys and girls, is too much wine will leave you feeling like life can only be good when a giant singing and dancing cheese burger shows up at your door step and serenades the seediness away.....
I didn't get too many good photos on Aus day, maybe due to the wine, but hopefully some of my friends got some so I can show you later! Yes yes that will be pleasant for all involved.
Photo 1: Frankie diary, what a nice kangaroo to greet me on this day of Australianess!
Photo 2: A potato salad! Yes I made it myself, Yes it was delicious! This is before I mixed it all together. It looked prettier like that.
Photo 3: My hat! It goes on my head! It is grey, no matter how hard I try I CANNOT get rabbits to come out of it, but all the same it is a fun hat.
Photo 4: A bowl of chips! I like them because they are yellow and also because they remind me of the duck cake from the old Women's Weekly birthday cake book. Remember that duck? You used two chips to make a beak, it was rad.
Photo 5: Oh look it is I! I promise I began the day looking like some kind of beautiful well dressed creature, but then I ditched the good stuff went swimming and acquired the lovely and well sought after 'drowned rat look'.
Photo 6: It is my husband! He is nice, he is standing with his arms out straight and it all looks very magical because the sun is shining brightly.

Late night sketching, had the image of a giant octopus wielding fairy floss in my head, so put it to paper.... Poor Giant Octopus, your fairy floss has become all soggy and ocean salty tasting. One day you will evolve to land and eat as much delicious fairy floss as you like, or humans, whatever floats your boat!!
This was the day I first ever bought that beloved hat, it goes on my head! It is a fun hat!! You have seen it many times before, and I am fairly certain that looking upon it has not made your eyes fall out of your head hardly at all! That is the most important thing!
On another note, there is a post on my wedding by the lady who made our Pinwheels, click here!
In case you haven't noticed I'm a bit obsessed with painting my nails different colours....I never used to bother with it, but much like a delicous savoury tin held snack once you pop you can't stop, and by pop I mean start.
The bag in the first picture was from Sportsgirl, and as much as I love that place this was the worst bag I have ever purchased, within a week the lining was falling apart and the buckle has fallen off today I bought it in September... it's a sad day.... now that I'm employed again, I will be purchasing a new bag ASAP!! Bags are very important, where else am I going to keep my kitchen sink?

Picture 1: This little wicker box was decorated by my Grandma's good friend Betty many years ago, isn't it adorable?!
Picture 2: Collection of some Frankie magazines and the little candle holders with the ribbon were from the wedding we used them to put the pinwheels in.
Picture 3: Diana camera which was a present 2 years ago from the husband but I still haven't figured out how to use it, it is pretty though and has a picture of a horsey on it!! Yes horseys are good! Underneath are some very pretty books 'Peter Pan', 'Alice In Wonderland', 'A Middle Of Green: The Legend Of Little Fur' and 'Where The Wild Thinngs Are...they have some amazing amazing illustrations, also there is a book I made for my husband for our 5 year anniversary.
Picture 4: Another collection of magazines Russh, Oyster and my absolute favourite Lula are among them.
Picture 5: Some leftover pinwheels from the wedding, they make lovely decoration.
I'm going to work today, WHAT IS THIS WORK YOU SPEAK OF??!! It is as if I have some how transported to another land, because work has become foreign in mine..... What shall I doooo!!!
p.s: but think of all the shopping I will soon be doing!

I painted my nails like this yesterday, only to have to take them off again this morning because I got a job interview. Oh well... they were pretty while it lasted...

Just on many mystical adventures after climbing into a giant tin of pink paint... yes pink is rather wonderful at the moment. The best kind of paint to climb into I would say. Now that I am trapped inside this tin I am wishing I had brought supplies, or that it had been one of those paint tins that are filled with jelly beans. How amazing are jelly beans, seriously they are the most delicious, my favourite kinds of jelly beans are the giant floating ones who come with missions to save their home land......
I hope everyone's Monday is filled with wonder and beauty and not being trapped inside giant paint tins....

I've been going through and scanning a bunch of old disposable camera shots from HanHan, from when we were around 16 - 18.... Here is a shot of me when I dyed my hair brown! I went pretty much black after that, oh super market hair dye you are not my friend! Oh the hair dye adventures we had!
Once Han dyed my hair packet blonde, and it went this intense orange/yellow/radioactive colour! It was so bad as soon as we had done it we were like we need more hair dye! So we ran down to the service station at 10.30 at night my hair covered in a Von Dutch hat! But alas there was no hair dye there...but I did find 50 dollars on the ground! So the next day I used by free money to fix my hair to a normal blonde at the hairdressers. We learned a lot of hair dye lessons those years.....
We also used to hang out taking pictures in like Target/Kmart a lot (hence the plates in the background) and for some reason we used to always do photoshoots in change rooms of us in maternity wear. Yes we were normal kids.
I may post some more old school photos, but they are pretty embarrassing!

Well today I thought to myself, all I want in life is to be wearing a dress all of floral! So I investigated in my wardrobe and found that there was not much of a floral nature at all!! But then towards the back hidden next to my wintry coats, was this old MINKPINK dress! I used to have many many adventures in this glorious dress, perfect for summer time, especially in this 37 degree heat! So I frolicked about in it for many hours, in fact I am still in it, mainly because the husband is asleep and I can't undo the back knot by myself...hrmm quite the dilemma.
Today, I had fairy bread for breakfast, because I am a healthy and nutricious lady. Then I was looking at it and I was like wow, fairy bread is very beautiful, I shall document this! Then I was like, well I've documented my breakfast perhaps I will continue documenting things today, so here is my first photo diary. Is this something you would be interested in seeing more of? Let me know and perhaps I will do another!
