The story of how even though my new shoes broke and had to leave this land.......

.... I found and bought some new shoes that made Mr Purse very happy indeed...

Here is an excerpt from the phone conversation I just had with Mr Stompface:

Stompy – I bought two pairs of shoes today….
Mr Stompy - WHYYY!!??!! *loud indecipherable noises* *Mr Stompy’s head explodes!*
Stompy – Guess how much they cost all up!
Mr Stompy – One million dollars!!! *angry wailing*
Stompy – $35!!!
Mr Stompy - *Head grows back* I AM FILLED WITH MUCH HAPPINESS AND PRIDE, YOU ARE A GOOD WIFEY TO BE, AND WHEN WE GET MARRIAGED I SHALL SHOWER YOU WITH TEN DOLLAR PAIRS OF SHOES AND EVERYONE WILL GASP AT THE GLORY.

The end

  5. i come from giant land too, size 10 feet here... and i recently found the loveliest shoes (flat tan sandals, that were not in any way shape or form gladiators!) from novo, i bought them in melbourne, arrived home in perth only to find that one of the strands of fake-leather that go around the back of the foot had been broken and the person who made them sticky-taped them back together!!!sneaky sneaky! was really annoying, im still gonna wear them tho because i LOVE them... i love shoe stories! xox

  6. hahaha I am a BIG FOOT too...size 10 can go to hell I say.

CONGRATS on an amazing bargain lady. you and Mr Stompface should walk around with them both on your hands for the rest of the week I think and tap them on any surface you fancy along the way. Shoe muppets?

Oh look, a comment box! Perhaps you could leave some kind of witty and or kind comment here. Or you could write long lovely poems about sailing and giant windmills. Whatever floats your boat. Just type, right below this writing, yes in that nice blank box!
